郭明錤近日通过twitter发布推文表示，playstation vr2的制造商及零件供应商将在2022年下半年开始量产并产出150万部游戏机，相信sony将准备在2023年第一季度推出，但取决于相关游戏的开发进度。
郭明錤又在twitter上指，playstation vr2将配备6个光学模块，其中包括4个720像素红外摄影机及2个眼动关注传感器。而ar头戴式设备内的非球面镜片由供应商genius提供。

上月，display supply chain consultants首席ceo ross young曾在twitter上推测表示，apple和sony的vr产品都被推迟到2023年才会推出。ross young又指直至年底，sony的供应量将非常有限，因此任何正式发布都相信都会在2023年2月下旬进行。
